Generally such Engineers are Incubated in highly competitive academic environment like IISc, IIT, Stanford university, Massachusetts Institute of Technology etc over a period of at least 5 to 6 years (Doctoral, Post Doctoral degree etc.) On the other hand for an Engineer who wants to build a career in core CFD code development ( example core development team of Ansys, Siemens, Numeca, Converge CFD etc), knowledge of coding is essential along with strong skills in mathematics, Numerical schemes and essential theory subjects. In addition a good understanding of theoretical subjects is must. One should have good understanding of Governing equations, how they are solved in the background, proper choice of numerical schemes, appropriate boundary conditions etc, which enable him to effectively use the analysis software. The graphical user Interface of all these softwares is very user friendly and fully developed, there is no need of programming knowledge to use these software tools.
